Waking up to one of the smokiest days in August was not what Andrea & Troy were hoping for. As local Canmore wedding photographer I know that couples who travel to this corner of the world for their dream wedding want those big beautiful landscapes. Unfortunately, you can’t control the weather. Disappointing, incredibly so, but these two had the most positive outlook and didn’t let it spoil their day at all!
Andrea and Troy… these two are warm, kind and hilarious individuals. They embraced me into their wedding day and made me feel like they’ve know me for years.
Their wedding took place at the classic and beautiful Stewart Creek Golf Course. Pigeon Mountain was hiding within the smoke filled landscape, but really, it just looked like a warm toned fog diffusing the harsh sun. In the end it made for some spectacularly beautiful photos.
Andrea is a teacher, and her attention to detail was evident throughout every aspect of her wedding day. Everything was put together perfectly. Stunning florals from Two Buds Floral, superb hair and makeup by Bloom Beauty Co & Glamaway Beauty, sparkling accessories, and a veil that almost stole the show.
I learned so many things about Andrea & Troy through the comical and heart felt speeches that unfolded. These two have such an amazing connection and love for each other. Their families laughs were contagious, and their hearts big. I’m so thankful to have met these two, hoping it isn’t the last time we see each other.
