I have known Jessie since grade school, and even though we haven’t always kept in touch, it truly felt like no time had passed when we got together to discuss her amazing wedding at Mount Norquay in Banff. I was beyond excited when she told me she was keeping things traditional with her Serbian fiancé by having a Serbian wedding! I mean common, CROWNS!
Our beautiful home town of Canmore always makes for a beautiful host to exceptional weddings, and even though we battled with some forest fire smog this summer we were determined to capture the essence of this majestic town. The robust and iconic Engine Bridge was just the place to do that.
Where else would you want to go to capture the true nature of this ski-town community than Mt Norquay Ski Resort in Banff? No where! Whisking us off above the clouds, the ski lift provided us the best opportunity for some unique mountain vistas. The beautiful open air lodge made the perfect venue for the reception and raising the roof as the dance floor was never empty. Needless to say, I had some very sore feet the next day (but SO worth it)!
