What an absolute joy it was to be part of Aehwa and Kyle’s stunning wedding at Flores & Pine in Calgary! Let me take you through this gorgeous day filled with love, laughter, and a few unexpected surprises.

The day began with the couple getting ready in the amazing bridal suite at the venue. Flores & Pine’s modern aesthetic makes it the perfect backdrop for any couple, and Aehwa was absolutely glowing as she prepared for her big day. The natural light streaming in from the big windows, the chic décor, and the anticipation in the air made everything feel so special right from the start.

I’m a huge fan of venues that can offer everything in one place, and Flores & Pine nails it. Beautiful ceremony space? Check. Gorgeous reception room? Check. Delicious food that everyone raves about? You bet. I mean, who wouldn’t want to get married here?

After a few sweet portraits around the venue (honestly, could they be any more photogenic?), it was time for the ceremony. The moment they said their vows, you could feel how deeply in love they are. Kyle’s brother, who officiated, brought an extra layer of warmth and sincerity to the ceremony, making it even more personal and touching. It was one of those “you had to be there” moments, but trust me when I say there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

After the ceremony, we took a short drive out to Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park, and wow, what a spot for photos! Picture this: rolling green meadows, a gentle breeze, and a whole lot of romantic vibes. The wind definitely made its presence known, but it added to the charm of the moment.

And let’s talk about those shoes for a second… Aehwa’s beautiful heels took a bit of a beating as she trekked through the grass, but I think we all agreed it was more than worth it. A little dirt never hurt anyone, right? Plus, the photos were absolutely breathtaking.

Back at Flores & Pine, the party was just getting started. After the grand entrance (seriously, these two know how to make an entrance), they kicked things off with a champagne toast to celebrate their new life together. The speeches were heartfelt, with plenty of laughs and a few happy tears. It’s always so special to hear loved ones share their thoughts on the couple.

Then, things got hilarious during their version of the shoe game. But this wasn’t just any shoe game—Aehwa and Kyle had paper cut-outs of their faces (and their pets’ faces!) instead of shoes. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed that hard at a wedding game. Between the questions and the silly faces on the cutouts, it was a total hit with everyone!

To close out the night, Aehwa and Kyle shared their first dance as newlyweds. The atmosphere was simply magical as they swirled around the dance floor, surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
