We all know how much I love the mountains. Anything mountain – count me in! There’s something special about a winter wedding in Banff that just makes my heart sing a little louder than usual. I don’t know if it’s the crisp fresh air, the beauty of falling snow, or the fact that it’s a little less busy in town – wink wink.
When I get an inquiry for a winter wedding in the mountains of Banff I usually do a little happy leap right in my office chair and frantically send off all my winter wedding sample galleries to the inquiring couple to prove they made the right choice!
I met up with Melissa and Trevor on a crisp early afternoon in January… after a quick first look, they had a beautiful intimate ceremony with just their family and close friends at Buffalo Mountain Lodge. Shortly afterward we set off on a little adventure of our own. And although the winds were a little chilly – they kept each other warm. ♥
