Ella & William | Fall Wedding at Bluebird in Banff
What do you get when you combine breathtaking mountains, love, laughter, and a few signature cocktails inspired by two adorable dogs? You get Ella & Williams’ incredible Banff wedding—an unforgettable day that had us all cheering, dancing, and marveling at the stunning scenery! Here’s a little peek into their unforgettable celebration.
Getting Ready at The Moose Hotel: Cheers to Love & Anticipation
The day started with a serious vibe at The Moose Hotel & Suites, where Ella and her crew were busy getting ready. There were plenty of laughs, a few tears (of joy, of course), and a whole lot of champagne flowing. As Ella slipped into her gown, you could feel the excitement building up, and the anticipation was palpable. It was all about good friends, good vibes, and a whole lot of love—oh, and of course, a few cheers to kick off the day in style!
First Look & Bridal Portraits at Lake Minnewanka: A Moment of Calm Before the Storm
Ella and William shared their first look at the beautiful Lake Minnewanka. It was the kind of moment that made you stop and sigh—so intimate and so real. Ella, stunning in her gown, took William’s breath away (and he definitely made her heart skip a beat too). After the first look, we spent some time capturing portraits against the jaw-droppingly beautiful lake backdrop. But the real magic came when the two snuck off for a private vow exchange in the forest. We’re talking real tears—big ones—and some of the most beautiful words we’ve ever heard exchanged between two people. There was something about the quiet intimacy of the trees and the soft whisper of the wind that made it feel like the world was theirs in that moment.
The Ceremony at Tunnel Mountain: Wind, Sun, and Love in the Air
Next up was the ceremony at Tunnel Mountain Reservoir, and let’s just say, the wind definitely made its presence known! But no one was complaining because that dramatic wind added a little extra magic to the already stunning scenery. The fall light was absolutely perfect, with the sun peeking through the clouds just at the right moments—seriously, it felt like Mother Nature was on Ella & Williams’ side. The couple exchanged their vows surrounded by their loved ones, and we couldn’t help but get a little choked up watching such a beautiful couple pledge their forever together.
Cocktail Hour & Signature Drinks: Dogs, Tunes, and Good Vibes
After the ceremony, we headed to Bluebird for a fun and lively cocktail hour. Guests mingled on the lower level of Bluebird with drinks inspired by Ella & Williams’ two pups—can you say adorable?! The Two Bits Bandits were also there, setting the mood with their lively music and keeping the upbeat tempo going. From signature cocktails to a packed dance floor, this party was definitely off to a great start.
Reception at Bluebird: Rustic Elegance Meets Mountain Chic
Upstairs at Bluebird, the reception was all about that modern rustic vibe. The decor was absolutely gorgeous, with elegant touches that felt as cozy as they were chic. Think wooden accents, soft lighting, and an atmosphere that was both laid-back and sophisticated. Every detail felt like it had been thoughtfully curated to reflect Ella & Williams’ personalities.
And of course, no Banff wedding would be complete without a little fun—and Ella & William made sure that everyone had a blast by rocking custom cowboy hats during the reception. Let’s just say, it’s not every day you get to see guests in cowboy hats tearing up the dance floor! (And the dancing? It was a vibe—we’ll let the pictures do the talking.)
Dancing the Night Away: Love, Laughter, and Cowboy Hats
After a delicious dinner and some heartfelt toasts, it was time to party. The night ended with a packed dance floor, cowboy hats on everyone’s head, and all the feels in the air. Ella and Williams surrounded by their closest friends and family was a scene you wouldn’t soon forget. We can’t think of a better way to end a day full of love than with a dance party that went until the very last song.
Ella & Williams’ Banff wedding had it all: stunning scenery, personal touches, and a whole lot of love. From the intimate moments shared in the forest to the lively reception with friends, it was a perfect reflection of the couple’s unique personalities and their love for each other. Here’s to the happy couple—and to a lifetime of happiness, adventure, and plenty of cowboy hats!
